Kumbabhishekam for the RAJAGOPURAM is nearing.
The committiee is headed by our MLA Mr. Vasanthakumar.
The estimate has been revised to around 45 lacs at current prices - And the project is likely to take 18 months for completion Scafolding has been completed around the Gopuram and stapathis also have started their work on Vinayaka Chathurthi day during sep 2008.
A few meets were also conducted in Chennai and Mumbai. At all other cities Kalakadars are working hard to collect the required money. I am sure it is not a big amount at all for KALAKADARS spread all over the world!
1) First join as a member of Bhaktar Peravai. Life memebrship fee is Rs.1000 only
2) Then contribute any additional amount as donation
3) Spread the word and get more contributions from friends and relatives Bhaktar Pervai can be reached at 34/82, Big street, Kalakad-627501 As soon as the bank details are available, the same shall be posted here.

My name is S.Sankarasubramanain, s/o. Late Sri K.S.Subbier and Late Smt. K.S.Bhavani Ammal of Big street. I know, there are many more like me with this dream of Kumbhabhishekam.
When for the last two days I was preoccupied with the thought of putting internet to use for this cause, suddenly this morning I get an e mail from wetpaint asking me create my own website! What else it could mean, other than the Divine Will? So here is the site. Till we are able to form ourselves into a group and scientifically proceed, I am happy to be the cocordinator as a link.
